The Eage Creek Trail has a badly damaged bridge just upstream from Punchbowl Falls. A tree fell on one end of the bridge, twisting and breaking the bridge and its supports. It is NOT safe to attempt a crossing.
Eagle Creek Bridge out just past Punchbowl
Re: Eagle Creek Bridge out just past Punchbowl
Yep, it was posted in the Trail Rx section too.
I was there today and right now it's possible to rockhop across just upstream, as long as you're careful, but with the storm coming tomorrow it's hard to say what it will be like there.

Thankfully, it wasn't High Bridge! The one that was taken out is just past Punchbowl Falls, and the gully it crosses is a not-too-difficult little scramble.archematic wrote:Oh no!
