Scenes from an early stroll thru the canyon at Silver Falls. I had to start at the north end since it was before official opening time when I got there. I didn't start seeing any other people until I made the turn at Sotuh Falls and began heading back. Nicely it only takes me 10-15 minutes longer to get to Silver Falls as it does to get to Sandy..
Starting at 730 at North Falls..
The trail along the North Fork of Silver Creek..
Nearing Middle North Falls..
Middle North Falls..
A different than normal look at Lower North Falls ..
And from across the other side of the water..
A crowded Canyon Trail..
Lower South Falls..
South Falls..
Sunburst thru the trees along the Canyon Trail..
North Falls..
Upper North Falls..
Winter Falls was pretty well dried up. Double Falls wasn't a whole lot better but had some water still flowing over it. With low water anytime you get away from the creek it's super quiet.
