Sunny during the week, cloudy/rainy on the weekends, gotta love the Pacific Northwest this time of year.
We started our hike, cloudy but dry from the Mt Hamilton trailhead. It finally started to drizzle then lightly rain as we neared the summit of Mt Hamilton. We then continued on a counter clockwise loop and followed Don's Cutoff back down to the Hardy Creek trail and back to main Mt Hamilton trail back to the our trailhead.
Even with the clouds and rain, this was a very pretty loop hike.

Really captured the clouds nicely! Always a nice loop...

Thanks for the report, rainrunner. I wonder what the story is on the cracked tree?

Karl - Thanks but we sure would like to hike up there when there were no clouds to photograph, this was our second time up there with stormy skies.
Thanks Adam, I thought it started with a "P", but for the life of me I couldn't remember the name.
Sean, I am not sure about the bark on that tree, the core of the tree seemed to be solid though.
