pt1: Reedsport to Brookings, A trip down the coast 3-10/3-15

Took a few days off to enjoy the coast!
This is mostly a photo tour, with a few short hiking pics mixed in.
Took I-5 to the 38, which drops you in Reedsport. A VERY fun road, with prettymuch zero people on it, and along the way, the Dean Creek Elk viewing area caught me by surprise! It's only a few miles before you hit Reedsport:
Made a quick stop to checkout the Umpqua River Lighthouse, oddly, it's east of the road, and you can drive right up to it:
Next stop was Shore Acres, one could easily spend a week in this neck of the woods!
Cape Arago Lighthouse:
The gardens were just starting to bloom, and apparently the next few weeks will be the peak time. Magnolia in Bloom + Hummingbird:
Bandon was the next stop! Made it just in time to grab the hotel keys and hit the beach for sunset:
Apparently I'm capped at 15 photos
See pt 2 and 3 in another thread!
