Holy cow, Gene, you either just find the best weather or you have a hand in creating it. Just wait and see my photos from Nestucca Spit...

Awesome job. And if never heard of Whalen Island, so now it's on my to-do list
Will break trail for beer.

Thanx! Wouldn't that be nice to be able to order up sunshine :lol:
It was really hard to find much info on Whalen Island online though there is a Field Guide entry here for it :o I forgot to bring the directions but as soon as you cross over the bridge to Sand Lake there's a huge sign staring you right in the face to make things easier..
