Mmmm....bacon pie.
I always look forward to this post. It seems like the meal gets bigger and fancier every year. It might be time to borrow a pulk! Thanks for sharing!

This TR has made me hungrier than any TR I've ever read! Anyone still have any leftovers to share??

I noticed that too. Add heavier to the list as well...awildman wrote: It seems like the meal gets bigger and fancier every year.
Crusak, the ice cream ball was the best addition to this year's trip. The thing weighs two pounds, plus you have to carry the ice cream ingredients and rock salt, BUT it was so much fun to kick it around for a half hour, then get the reward of homemade ice cream. I wouldn't haul it on a long trip, but for something short like this or for a car camping trip it's kind of a no-brainer.
And sorry, Sean, no leftovers. I didn't want to carry out any extra weight in my pack
Thanks all for the positive feedback. I look forward to this trip every year!
