Here’s an opportunity some trail work a little further afield plus an opportunity for some late season camping on the dry side of the mountains plus time for hiking!

Trail Keepers of Oregon is helping Mazamas with volunteer trail work as part of the Craggin Classic event in Central Oregon (http://www.americanalpineclub.org/p/cra ... #smithrock). Camping is available over Saturday for those that would like to go early and enjoy the park (lots of hiking trails!) or even sign up for the event to learn some rope skills.
This is a trail work party to do maintenance on the network of trails around Smith Rock Park. Officially a half day work party for those who need to head back to the west/wet side earlier. As always any help you can give is welcome. No experience needed, tools and safety equipment provided.
