Got it. My pass doesn't expire until mid-May. (Wasn't sure it was needed until you got to Grouse Vista, though?)Eric Peterson wrote:Don't forget the DNR extra tax based fee Discovery Pass deal Karl...

DP is needed if parked anywhere in DNR lands I guess.

I have a Discover Pass but have never displayed it when parked at the S Ridge TH and have had no issues. However, based on the website (quoted below), it appears that a Pass is technically required to use this undeveloped TH.Eric Peterson wrote:DP is needed if parked anywhere in DNR lands I guess.

Per the Pass website: The pass is required on state recreation lands and water-access sites managed by Washington State Parks (State Parks), Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) and Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR). These lands include state parks, water-access points, heritage sites, wildlife and natural areas, DNR and WDFW campgrounds, trails and trailheads and all DNR managed uplands (natural areas and trustlands, but not aquatic lands).
