Great Photo & story about how you got there!
Don't think I can try that in the Kia Spectra though :^)...

Guy - you can always try! I will not promise anything about the outcome...Guy wrote:Don't think I can try that in the Kia Spectra though :^)...
Geo - I like your "I backed down probably 4 miles before it was clean enough to turn around without chains." You are one brave person not to give up after that! Your first picture is superb and I guess your reward for being so persistent in driving to LL!

Sure, throw a couple bags of sand and a shovel in the back and you'll be fine...Don't think I can try that in the Kia Spectra though

We probably didn't miss you by all that much. It was after 230 when we got back to our parking spot. At that time there was one white truck that had gone a little bit farther up the road still behind us. We saw them walking towards the lake as we were heading out.
Geez, the least you coulda done was got there a bit earlier with a couple cold beers for us

Team work is better! If you guys need any help with transporting the beers or the kayak to the lake just tell me! I will immediately abandon all work and join you. To make things fun, we can drive in my wife's Hyundai Accent (and Geo can do all the reversing!).geographics wrote:pdxgene - you mean the bottles are still in the snow bank? well, one of us ought to head back up there! with a kayak!
