Happy boys up the caroll rim trail at Painted Hills.
Obes (Obie, Oberon) is our ride or die pup that would walk across Oregon if I asked him. We're training for our summer backpacking trips. Guinness is our dock-diving caretaker that is happiest in the water or just sitting with his head on your lap.
Both pups are named after beer.

This is Bucky, looking totally soaked and exhausted after a day of hiking and swimming.

Even though Cooper passed away a month ago because of cancer he was a great companion for hiking, fishing, driving and just hanging out with. We will be spreading his ashes at most of the places he enjoyed. One picture is from a beach hike and the other on the trail to Si and Fish Lakes on the upper Clackamas just before the fires occurred.

I'm sorry. It is so hard to say goodbye. They are the best hiking pals ever. My buddy Ellie has been diagnosed with kidney failure. At almost 14 years, she doesn't know it yet. I plan to make the most out of the time we have. Crossing fingers it is years.longboard16 wrote: ↑June 20th, 2022, 5:52 pmEven though Cooper passed away a month ago because of cancer he was a great companion for hiking, fishing, driving and just hanging out with. Love the beer-inspired names, adding some extra flavor to your awesome pup pack.
