REI event: lesser used trails in the gorge...

Cool! I have both of his books. They're great for finding a bit of everything... hikes, swimming holes, secret stashes, family friendly outings, etc.

If he mentions trails or places not commonly known, do share!

I might be there as well Jamey. Like Jim, I have both his books and they're fantastic. Definitely not your usual guide books. I've had email correspondence with him before and found him very knowledgeable, humorous, and willing to help. My guess is he will be a very engaging speaker.

I have to miss that event, but if draws a crowd like Sullivan or Lorain, get there at least half hour early!:)
