But only if blind-folded. You know, a double blind study
I keep making protein shakes but they always turn out like margaritas.

For it to be a double blind study, the footwear should be installed by a blindfolded researcher. :geek:

it wouldn't be a good idea for Dean to be blindfolded :)

Y'all are being silly. No literal blindfolds are needed. Just put one of those dog cone collars on each ankle so the subject cannot see his feet.

Actually the dark room that caused the original problem is like being blindfolded, especially when in a rush. Note that I don't usually put the boots on at home. They get tossed in the car to put on at the trailhead.

How long did you go before noticing?

When I got to the trailhead and took them out of the car to put on, I noticed immediately. I only saw a few other hikers that day, but wonder if they noticed.

Yes, we are being silly.
But anyway, wouldn't you need to obscure just one foot?

Waiting for Mr Nelsen to come along and post Wait...leave for a hike before sunrise? But...why? :|
