I was crusin by the powerlines and saw this which absolutely ruined my plan and caused my to reverse out through the mud. Is this a fire thing?

Sure looks like a backhoe was at work there, so Jerry's idea that the trenches are meant to prevent use of the road makes perfect sense. Now all we need to know is who did it and why they want to close the road to vehicles and we'll be all set! :lol:

Was this in a national forest? The Forest Service often decomissions roads by making them undrivable in this fashion. You can read more about that here.
