Boyles creek cave
Boyles creek cave
I think I found the boyles creek cave. Im pretty sure it is because the water flows into it, the creek flows into the washougal right before a big waterfall. Has anybody explored it recently?
Re: Boyles creek cave
I think I have vaguely heard of that cave. But it caused me to do a Google search. And that came up with this PDF from the 60s. Informational Circular 40: Caves of Washington It turns out there are far more lava tubes in Skamania County, and near Mt. St. Helens, than I knew of. I feel ripped off. There are at least two other caves within a short distance of the Ape Caves. You could avoid the crowds and spelunk your way to a lake in Lake Cave, for example.

PDF's from the 1960's are a rare find!
Believe it or not, I barely ever ride a mountain bike.

That book was my source. I got there trying to find the “lost spaniard gold mine” that barely existsjvangeld wrote: ↑January 9th, 2023, 3:53 pmI think I have vaguely heard of that cave.
