Clackamas Fires Roadside Danger Tree Assessment

Post by longboard16 » July 16th, 2022, 12:34 pm

The Forest Service has completed another phase in their assessment of the Mt. Hood forest affected by the Lionshead, Riverside and Bull Complex fires. This will eventually affect when the public can finally access certain roads and trails. There is another comment period that concludes near the end of August, so it would appear any of that work is a ways off. Below will be the link to their site that has all the information for review and downloaded included maps of the areas with road mitigation issues. Also included are some public comments that can be viewed on the right side of the page. All together there is a lot of reading material.
