Anyone been up thee this season? We were hoping to camp at the Helispot next weekend. I’m thinking there is probably snow but thought I would check.

I was just on the Knebal Springs/Bottle Prairie Loop nearby, it's a bit higher elevation. There were a few snowy sections, on North facing slopes, but that was only about 20% of the 9 mile hike. Never had any issues finding trail in snow sections which were soft but not postholey.

There was no snow up to the helispot yesterday. I didn't run into any snow at all until around 4900' maybe a mile and a half past there.
