tick habitat moving up?

Post by Chip Down » June 3rd, 2021, 9:35 pm

I picked up a couple ticks in a grassy area at 3700' today. I've never seen them that high. I don't think I've heard reports of them that high in OR/WA.

I'm thinking about taking up SCUBA diving. I bet the evil little bastards won't follow me there!

There is sea lice (jellyfish larvae) that can cause skin irritations.

Aaaaaaargh. Is nowhere safe?

I guess it's climate change.

And poison oak seemingly moving west. (Or is it just that it invades burned areas?).
Believe it or not, I barely ever ride a mountain bike.
