Thanks for sharing this video! It is always crazy to see what ends up getting spared and what's completely toasted in the aftermath. I can't imagine their emotions deep down when they came over that ridge and saw the Opal Creek drainage for the first time, but also the gratitude for the old growth stands that persevered.

I, too, can't wait to get back to this area and hope that some access will be restored for next season (fingers crossed).
