Helping rebuild after the fires

Post by justpeachy » September 14th, 2020, 11:32 am

As with the 2017 Eagle Creek Fire people want to know how they can help trails when this is all over. The extent of the damage is still unknown at this time. If you want to help, these are local organizations who you can follow on social media and sign up for their newsletters to stay informed about volunteer efforts whenever those may come to pass. If you know if any others, please mention them in the comments and I'll update this post.

Mt. Hood Chapter maintains the PCT and feeder trails from Olallie Lake area to north of Mt. Adams. Mid Oregon Chapter maintains Mt. Jefferson south.

Seconded. I'm sure it's not intentional, but it seems that, too often, PCTA is left out of these discussions, despite doing a huge amount of work.
