Yes, keep an eye on that fire in the Clackamas. It's only three miles from Estacada, and it's already chewed up the entire South Clackamas drainage (including Memaloose Lake) and Fish Creek. Looks like it might combine with the other two.

Another one to watch is in Red Buttes Wilderness. In Oregon, it has burned up Bolan Mountain and the Tanner Lakes area.

North Umpqua is also on fire (from Steamboat to west of the NF boundary). Also Mt. Thielsen Wilderness and the east shore of Diamond Lake.

The Riverside fire only started yesterday and is already at 20,000 acres+

That is rather terrifying. I have a feeling at some point they are going to have to prioritize populated areas and let the forest burn. I know they are short on people and equipment to fight all these fires.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention to arrive safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: WOW-What a ride!

Reminds me of the Yacolt Burn of 1902 in terms of destruction.... So terrible!

They're already doing that. With the weather the last couple days, there isn't a thing they can do about the big fires.

Further west, the entire northern half of Lincoln City is now under a Level 3 evacuation order.

Which one is that? I don't see it on Inciweb. EDIT: I'm guessing you're referring to the Slater Fire. There's no permiter map on Inciweb showing it heading over the state line.

Looks like they're calling it the Slater Fire.

Inciweb seems to be pretty slow getting new fires up. But I think the east winds are supposed to be dying down and gone by some time tomorrow (Thursday). It will stay hot for a while, but the fires son't spread a lot without wind.
