Road to Vista Ridge TH??

HI,

What are the roads like getting to the Vista Ridge TH from Lolo Pass and from Hood River? Haven't been there in a while. One of my hiking partners has sedan with not a lot of clearance.

All of the options (Lolo Pass, Parkdale, and Dee) are fine for any car, but recently the road northeast of Lolo Pass was closed for some reason. I'd either call the Zigzag ranger station to ask about that, or plan on taking one of the northern approaches.

I drove up to that trailhead on August 22 via Lolo Pass and it was fine. There are some potholes, but it's passable in a sedan. It's a long drive no matter which way you take.
