Injured Goat on Silver Star? 06-25-2020

Post by dmthomas49 » June 25th, 2020, 2:20 pm

We hiked Sliver Star today and from the summit saw some movement below Ed's Trail. I zoomed in with my camera and got this goat that seems like it might be injured. It did not move the whole time we were there. You can see some dirt from a slide. Goat Search and Rescue?
Maybe just sitting in the dirt?

Dunno. But that goat is pretty chill; he's used to people by now. So maybe he just didn't feel the need to move?

I've seen goats "wallowing" in dirt before.
