Oregon Hikers

Opened Thursday 5/23. Understandable if you didn't realize, since as of today the signs on the road still say it's closed at the snow gate, and whatever I checked on the web just yesterday also claimed it was closed. But I'm here to tell you, that sucker is definitely open. Foggy as heck today, but open.

Wasn't sure what the state of the crater loop trail would be with access from the top closed for so long, but it was great. Just the typical handful of minor downed logs.

Yep, coworker was sharing his pics of toddler and dog at the top, nobody else around.
I think it's a better trip in the winter, snowshoeing up from Multnomah. To each their own.
