Oregon Hikers

Gales Creek / Story Burn is pretty close to Beaverton, so i'm wondering if anyone has done a backpack trip in or around that area. Based on descriptions and reports, I can't tell if there are overnight camping options or not. It would be a good location for Winter outings and for newbies to get their act together.

Failing that, any good local Winter-friendly backpacking options you would like to suggest? I'm not looking for anything heavy, just something to get outside.
