Congestion and Transportation Safety Plan
Project Leadership Team meeting postponed

Due to the partial government shutdown and the lapse of funding for the U.S. Forest Service, we will be postponing the January Project Leadership Team meeting to ensure all of our partners have adequate time to review and respond to the draft plan. We are working to reschedule the Project Leadership Team meeting in late February, date to be determined. The new meeting date will be posted on the project website.

Comment on the draft Historic Highway Congestion and Transportation Safety Plan

ODOT, the U.S. Forest Service, Multnomah County and Oregon Parks and Recreation Department seek comments on the draft Historic Columbia River Highway Congestion and Transportation Safety Plan. Please submit comments by Feb. 11, 2019.

This plan recommends projects and programs to improve safety, reduce vehicular congestion and enhance visitor experience in the Historic Highway corridor for all transportation modes.

The project planning area includes the Historic Highway along the “waterfall corridor” from Women’s Forum to Ainsworth State Park.
