Fall can be lovely, but lately, not so much. I am grateful for the rain we need it.

I'm having problems posting pics this evening, but I'll try to attach a pic of St Helens showing some new snow (summit sadly obscured in clouds).

What I noticed on higher mountains in the past (Mt Adams especally), is new snow melts off rocks quickly but will stay on snow patches much longer - it will give glaciers white fresh look for a while.
