Indian Heaven Wilderness Mosquitos

Has anyone been out to Indian Heaven in the last few days? I was thinking of taking my sons out to Blue Lake for a backpacking trip early next week and am wondering about the mosquito situation.

I was just up at Junction and Bear lakes, and mosquitoes were minimal. I didn't use any DEET and got maybe a couple of bites sitting out having lunch. But I did not spend the night and they are probably worse in the evening. Nonetheless there were far fewer than is typical for August on my trip. But be careful, these things change a lot and I wonder if this weeks heat wave might bring them back? Or maybe fry the last few of them?

possibly looking at going to indian heaven this weekend for a camping trip. Any update on bugs from anyone?
