Yeah it's that same collapse, looks uglier from the ground imo. More like a dirt pile than a rock pile.

Not to dismiss the aesthetic damage of the pile itself but I am more concerned about the possibility of a massive log jam forming behind it.

Yeah, big log jams are likely to be a continual risk for some time yet. I imagine there are still a lot of trees ready to fall over the next couple years.
