Okay, I'll submit my two cents. I've been up there a few times in my Honda Element. It's awful. Logging has resulted in improvements, but the gravel is extra-coarse, intended for trucks. It's a slow grind. And yes, heavy truck traffic on weekdays. Making matters worse, this road is steep in spots. If you don't have a transfer case, you'll wish you did. Consider parking where CG2020 meets the utility road going up towards Greenleaf, and walk up to the five-way junction. It's not too bad, not exactly a fun trail hike, but not miserable.

Hiked this yesterday from the 2020 road. I decided to park on Greenleaf ridge where 2020 ends and hike up on the powerline road. Will do a trip report here soon. I would definitely take a different approach next time.
