Thank you to all of the volunteers

Just a quick shout out to all of the volunteers who have already put in hundreds of hours removing dozens of trees and mudslides in the last month!

The Forest Service is keeping track of all reports of trail damage and fallen logs and coordinating with volunteers to prioritize these. For now, just know that virtually all trails in the Gorge are affected one way or another right now. Many more volunteer work parties are scheduled. If you haven't joined one before, jump on in...they are a lot of fun.

Please be safe out there and turn back if needed. If you would like to post conditions directly to the Forest Service you can do so at [email protected]. Posting to OregonHikers.org is awesome too as this will let everyone know quicker and we do monitor OregonHikers.

Thanks again to volunteers and trip-reporters! Edan
