Glad to see some modicum of justice here, granting that their offense was relatively minor. Just thin-slicing based on his smugness in the picture, the dad seems like a lost cause. Perhaps the kids learned something from this though (if only that people don't think it's cool to carve your name in things)?

I hope these fools also had to reimburse all parties for the legal nonsense required to find them, issue the tickets and the administrative expenses to collect and account for the $$. Based on the way the article is written it does not appear that is the case (to me at least).
