Wow what a great belated Christmas present!! So glad Huey made it home safe and it sounds like he had quite the adventure.

I just read this thread for the first time. I am so happy you are reunited with your beloved dog. If I ever get lost in the woods, I hope you are part of the search party!!!

Happy New Year!

Thanks everybody! Huey is doing great. We went for a short walk yesterday and a 6 miler today. His paws are all healed and he's putting back on a little weight. My wife and I are so thrilled to have our family back together! She's due with our first child in two weeks so it's an even bigger relief to have him home before the baby is born. Huey and I won't be hiking for quite a while

Hey greenjello, I went up Mcintyre Ridge yesterday and your lost dog sign is still up, at the trail entrance at the quarry. (And in surprisingly good shape; guess this area really is improving!) I trust the next visitor can take it down and pack it out, to avoid any confusion?

Cheers.

Oops! I thought I got them all but I put up a lot. I'll try to get it down soon but if anyone happens to be up there I would appreciate them taking it down.
Thanks for the reminder,
Dan
