Hi everyone,
There's a new interactive map that shows the final project info for the big new BPA powerline corridor. It's been years of advocacy on all sides; some people advocating that the lines go over private property, some advocating that the lines go over public property. It's not a meaningless distinction, because the public property in the affected area is chock full of wilderness attributes and recreational amenities. Luckily, it seems like the route has stayed on a mix of private and public property that avoids the most important recreational and wilderness features (the trail systems at Larch and Silver Star Mountains, notably).
