Yaaaaay! New site is smokin'!

Post by anna in boots » June 17th, 2008, 4:59 am

This place rocks, Jeff! Thanks for all the hard work and determination, it sure paid off. It looks all shiny and new. I'm honored to be the first to post on the new site, one of the advantages of being an extremely early riser. The other advantage is wearing lots and lots of spiderwebs across my face when I hike.

There are so many new goodies on here, I can't wait to use them all. (Well, all except the smilies, which I'm allergic to on all sites. Death to emoticons! Thanks for making them optional with the flip of a switch, love you for that!) See Board Preferences, then Edit Display Options.

Note: Procedure for changing password is User Control Panel, Profile, Edit Account Settings

Big round of applause for Jeff, Martel, and team! Yaaaaaaaaaaay!

Thanks, I missed the "Profile" step in the instructions. It has been added.

Looks great. I was afraid it would just like all the other vBulletin boards. Great look!

This is great! I can post the pictures right off my computer instead of having to take the extra step of putting them in the photo gallery. Which is a good thing I guess since there aren't any yet... But that eliminates the most time consuming step. And trust me, if i could figure it out the first time, anyone can....

I finally made it! Dan was right that we just had to wait a day for the old DNS to clear out of our computers. I still have to bring over my avatar and sig line, but all in good time. Edit: As you can see, I did it. I had to get my avatar off flickr rather than the old gallery, which was just as well--the one in the old gallery was too big for this site. Specifying the thumnail size on flickr worked great.

Great job guys! THANK YOU!
