Just read an article http://www.statesmanjournal.com/apps/pb ... 30327/1001here about the rare Oregon Golden Paintbrush and the state's willingness to provide a reward for anyone finding some. Thought I'd pass it along, in case anyone has seen this in their travels.
I saw some in Washington near my home on the Paradise Ridge trail (above Carson) in the Gifford Pinchot forest, but none in Oregon...yet!
