Re: confused Mountain Goat on Dog Mountain!
We saw the goat cfm saw, as well, yesterday, 12/19, as we drove by the construction area. We were like, wait, is that a goat up there? There were two guys with tripods and telephoto cameras focused on it, so I guess the word is out that the goat is hanging out there.

I've seen as many as four together in the cliffs between Dog Mountain and Dog Creek recently. I only have a cell phone pic taken from Viento a few weeks back for proof, unfortunately

I'm glad you posted this, because it made me look up when I was driving past on I-84 just now... and sure enough, there were 4 of them visible about halfway up the mountain.

I don't know. Those sure look like pictures of Goat Mountain. Are you sure they aren't Mountain Dogs?
Believe it or not, I barely ever ride a mountain bike.

I have seen turkeys up there, maybe “Mountain Turkeys”?
