Update: FOUND!! <3 Lost wallet at Trillium Sno Park

Post by elizabethhines82 » December 10th, 2023, 4:56 pm

Hello everyone! I lost my wallet today on the trail headed to pioneer cemetery from Trillum Sno Park. We didn’t go past Pioneer cemetery, I built a sizeable snowman there so that could be a good landmark lol. It’s a pink wallet with a zipper, square in shape. It has all my cards, some cash, and ID in it. I’ll give a 75 dollar reward to whoever finds it and meets with me to get it back, or whatever would be most convenient, with those things still in there :(

I’m not sure if this is the best way to go about this but someone found my wallet and returned it to me, literally a Christmas miracle :’)) thank you everyone for your support and for looking at my post!! Super weird about the bot from Istanbul, I totally missed that lol the internet is an interesting place! Anyway, thank you so much everyone ♥️

good luck! the chances the finder is honest are actually pretty good. the chances they read about it here are much smaller. our traffic tends to be on the low side in the winter months. but, again, good luck! hope you get it back intact! :)

There's more traffic in the Portland Hikers Facebook group.

There's also the Oregon Hikers & Climbers FB group, along with posting to places such as AllTrails.

Beyond the odd insistence on referencing/repeating literally every detail that elizabethhines82 gave in her post, this here's your dead giveaway that alex3958 is a bot...

And if it doesn't turn up in the next few weeks after the snow melts...

hmmm... good point, now that you mention it it has sort of a bot like feel

she (it?) made 2 posts, normally there's only one post

there are no links to unrelated websites which is a dead give-a-way that its a bot

no offence intended to any humans that are mentioned as suspected bots :)

alex3958 was a chatbot posting from Istanbul, now banned. the original post is genuine and I hope her wallet has found its way back to her.

I thought alex looked like a bot, but I was confused by the lack of sneaky links.
