it seems like about half the time there's no link

I wonder why they're doing it?

They could post with no link, then days later edit it in or add it to their signature which would become visible to any web crawler?

Just posting to point out that that elizabethhines82 just updated her original post and her wallet was found and returned. She's very happy about it! :)
