Augspurger north powerline corridor, lost about three years ago.
Amazing they were still there after all this time.

So close! But in the state of Oregon would be closer...

Marine Drive bike track circa late 2017; lost in some tall grass near the "Welcome to Troutdale" sign when removing motocross helmet; first time running them. Shure brand (so they weren't cheap). That's why I immediately went back to using conventional behind-the-head wired earphones.
Like Chip, I'm amazed they were still there
after all this time.

Re: Founds: Pair of black earbuds
Wildcat, what is TRULY amazing is how they were both lifted by that freak west wind and somehow deposited within 12" of each other 30 miles to the east... just think of the odds!

Re: Founds: Pair of black earbuds
You found two earbuds, but they weren't originally a pair.
The left one is Chip's and the right one is wildcat's, they independently migrated several miles (and sometimes across state lines!) over 3+ years and landed within a couple feet of each other. Incredible odds that you found them!

You know exactly what to do.
There's no need to be afraid.
Keep walking.

Ah huh. So THAT'S how they vanished into oblivion and left me cursing the lack of IFE the rest of my 5-hour ride! It wasn't the tall grass after all!
As I recall it was quite windy that day, for me it's nominally about a 45-minute ride between 205 and the Frontage Road intersection in calm wind. I think I made it to Troutdale in just under half an hour not counting stopping at the city line. Sure made heading west a bitch though!
