Today when I went to gpsfly.org and tried to play a GPS track on the Google Earth 3D it gave me a strange error message: 'The Earth map type is not supported'
Any ideas? I've checked and my browser add-ons are up-to-date (Firefox v.26, windows 7 64-bit). I tried selecting other GPS tracks on the site, and changing from satellite to topo to map... it was working just fine very recently for me.
I posted this in the gpsfly forum. Hopefully they will have a solution.
gpsfly - error message, won't "play" tracks
Re: gpsfly - error message, won't "play" tracks
Confirmed, it's not just you. I've always felt that site was wholly unmaintained. Google recently pulled the plug on v2 of the Google Maps API. Sites not updated to v3 were left to crap out. I've been through this on a couple sites of mine. The update isn't fun. Sadly, looking at the page source there...
