Yeah, Dog Mtn and other areas beyond like Coyote Wall and Catherine Creek are only crowded during the short flower season, and less so on the first few sunny weekends of the spring. I tend to hike these places mid-winter and early spring when other places are snowed in, and while the numbers are certainly up from a decade ago, they are not crowded then.

As to that driver / parker and the odd parking spot, I guess these days I can count on some people to do something that makes absolutely no sense, whether that be parking or voting :o . I've stopped trying to figure out why. You'll just go crazy.

in the case of parking, thankfully, just one person parked in a way that made no sense :twisted:
