Punchbowl Falls (verified with binoculars).
Nice! Totally counts, you don't need to put your hands on it.

Yesterday's route was largely in the shoot-n-pollute degenerate zone where lowlife scum vandalize GPNF just for fun. As such, I wasn't looking all that hard for balloons. It's hard to see a balloon in a landfill. Nevertheless, I did spot a couple.

Punchbowl Falls: Yes, balloon to the left/bottom of the falls.

This seems to be a popular model. I think this is at least the third specimen I've found, and I think at least one other member found one.

I needed a route marker, but didn't bring tape. Fortunately, there just happened to be this balloon on the ground nearby, so I stuck it on a tree.

Hiking the ridge between Prospector Creek and Meander creek I hit the balloon bonanza today. On the way, I found three along the 2000 Road too, so my take ended up at 14 for the day. That's more than I've found in the past year or more put together.

Here are the ones found along Road 2000:

Near the top of the ridge, I was off-trail coming back down and noticed this:

I pulled the first one loose from the soil and another appeared beside it. I kept unearthing them and finally ended up with this:

Must have been a fine B-day party!

If I found that many balloons, I'd think somebody was setting me up.
