I actually preferred the stout. Today, I ended up blending them, because I just wasn't much in the mood for getting all fussy and analytical about it.
The guy at the counter when I bought the stout/porter sixer was shocked at how high the price was, which I thought was funny. Boulevard is pretty reasonable. Unless you're comparing it to Coors Lite.
Regarding temperature, it was pretty mild today. I don't generally carry a thermometer, but it felt about 50-ish. Did I ever tell you about the time a BBA stout froze on me? Savagely cold day.
I like the Boulevard BBA Quad.
