I wonder how they protect their feet. Seems awfully risky for the birds. I've been bit by mine twice, both times for a fraction of a second and both times requires stitches. A 10" prop (average size) hovers at about 6000rpm (average). At that speed, the tips are traveling at 175 mph, and even the softest plastic props will cut you 200 times per second. They are no joke.

I also wonder about speed and size. Just how fast do eagles fly? Most multirotors that would be that high are capable of 50+ mph. Winged drones can go much faster. And how do they cope with the average winged drone, with a wingspan of 4' or more?

I don't expect answers. Just throwing out questions.
