Found this one lying around off the old Barlow Road in the general vicinity of Gate Creek

Buried under a pile of bona fide tumbleweeds in a tiny ravine near the bottom of Starvation Lane in Cottonwood Canyon State Park:

It had been there long enough that a miner's lettuce plant had tangled its roots up in the balloon's "string" (a white ribbon).

Somewhere, a balloon is bereft of its ribbon. I searched, but was unable to reunite them.

Caught something out of the corner of my eye off trail on Little Badger Creek. Lo and behold what should I find... this time I actually remembered to bring a garbage bag with me. Good thing too since it was was more than a little muddy.
