Thanks for sharing that about Wyeth. I had read bits of the story before, but definitely not in that detail! I hope you've made it up to the unsigned Gorton Creek falls on one of your Wyeth excursions.

Nice article -- the map is very useful, since it places the camp on top of the Wyeth Campground of today. That also helps explain the fairly elaborate waterworks that begin at "Emerald Falls" and continue down to the campground. Interesting!
