History of some of the Mt. Hood Trails

Post by trex6622 » October 13th, 2017, 5:15 am

I'm glad I just found out about this group!
My dad created some of the trails around Mt. Hood in the 1920's and 1930's.
He did it with some boys from local high schools.
I wrote down his trail building history in the book "Fire Lookouts & Mountain Climbing in Oregon".
I'm sure this info would be useful/entertaining to the group.
