Wow REALLY cool thanks for posting! Those older style bridges are rad.
Seems like when the trails were constructed a lot of undergrowth was cleared or wasn't present looking at the then vs. now. I do enjoy it in the extremely rare cases the forest service will take out a few trees to add some views / new angles / clean things up.
