Women no longer need to fear dark, can hike without a man!

"Maidens who yesterday might have been afraid of the dark are making their beds in woods and by roadsides. Maidens who once might have thought themselves lost without a man to support them, are earning their meals at farmhouses and catching them from woodland streams." - The Oregonian, 1922

Sadly, there are plenty of women who are still afraid to hike without a man. Times haven't changed that much :|
Will break trail for beer.

Seems rather sexist. You should have a certain level of anxiety while hiking alone no mater what your gender. Sprained ankles and falls happen to everyone regardless of age, gender and experience. Cougars aand grizzlies are gender-neutral when it comes to meal preparation.
