- Jack English and the Posum just outside Jack's cabin. Jack owns the last Civil War era land grant homestead in the Ventana ,we ran across his place completely by accident. Interesting gent, makes violin bows and enjoys visitors.

Some people are really fit at eighty; thankfully I still have many years to get into shape…

Those are from the Ventana Wilderness in Monterey County
